Job Responsibilities


  • Overall management of Supply Chain activities includes Demand Forecasting, Production Planning, Procurement, In/Out Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Order Processing, Packing & Packaging and Material Handling).
  • Handling Contracts with various suppliers’ types, in addition to Suppliers Relationship Management (SRM) activities with key suppliers.
  • Review all logistics processes, procedures and systems in order to ensure proper Implementation, in addition, improve or modify (in order to eliminate rework and inefficiencies) in regard to the current requirements.
  • Ensure up-to-date and accurate information, records and reporting system are maintained including, but not limited to, procurement, warehouse management, products tracking system, transportation and inventory and asset management.
  • Continuous focus in total logistics costs reduction (Transportation costs, Material Handling costs, procurement cost, inventory carrying cost, order processing cost, warehousing cost and administration cost) for the company and its customers as well, through developing logistics business plans, services and cooperative networks with key customers (concepts, process and tools) that lead to improving the overall performance.
  • Ensure all departments are aware of logistics procedures in relation to their activities.
  • Prepare periodical reports.
  • Prepare & monitor annual logistics budget in order to ensure extra expenditure will not occur without logic justification.
  • Report critical budgeting issues to CFO and other key personnel.
  • Carry out logistics staff appraisals.
  • Organize and facilitate training workshops to ensure all personnel are fully familiar with logistics procedures and systems (including partners’ organizations if necessary).
  • Collect comprehensive and up-to-date information for inbound & outbound shipments with different countries, transit time, costs, fees, etc.
  • Develop an excellent communications with all concerned internal and external parties.
  • Familiar with the application of ERP systems (SAP & Oracle & TM1).
