Chemistry of Portland Cement Clinker Chemistry of Blending Crushing Raw materials and transportation

Course Code: CI 07

Course Overview

This course has been developed to achieve information on the basic chemistry involved in the cement production processes. The lecture will introduce the formulas and focus will be on basic chemical knowledge that will it make it easier to evaluate potential raw materials, the ease of clinker formation and the final quality of the clinker and cement produced at a cement plant.

Familiarize the trainees with the types of crushers, Crushing Operation, Design Limitation, Liner Consideration and Effect on Production, technology and procedures necessary to operate Crushers with troubleshooting.

Familiarize the trainees with raw material homogenizing stockpiles and raw materials transport and storage.
